E-Resources Copyright Statement

In order to protect the intellectual property rights of electronic resources, to maintain the reputation of Beijing Institute of Technology and to guarantee the legal right of all authorized users as well, the library appeals to all the organizations and individuals to pay attention to and comply with the regulations on intellectual property rights of electronic resources. Any organizations and individuals must comply with the following provisions when using the network database:

◆  Any batch downloading of the library-subscribed electronic resources by any software tools is prohibited.

◆ Any continuously, systematically, centralized, batch over downloading, browsing and retrieving of full-text documents from library-subscribed databases is prohibited. (Although database vendors hold in consistent definition of "abuse", it is generally believed that reading and browsing beyond the normal speed is regarded as abuse)

◆ Any redistributing electronic literatures to off-campus users and any use of these electronic literatures for the purpose of making profits are prohibited.

◆ The proxy server on campus is not allowed to set up without the permission of the university library.

◆ The illegal users will be punished accordingly.
