Graduates Leaving

Please make sure that you have returned all the check-out materials in your name and the Interlibrary Card before you go through graduation formalities. If you have carelessly lost them, reparations are required according to rules and regulations before you leave the school.

Undergraduates: return all the check-out materials in your name and the Interlibrary Card, no formality is needed.

Postgraduates  &  Doctoral Students:   return all the check-out materials in your name and the Interlibrary Card, submit the academic dissertation to the library.

Once you have gone through necessary procedures, your library account will be closed while other functions of the Campus ID Card remain the same. You cannot swipe the Campus ID Card to enter the library or to borrow books.

 Published Papers

◆ Please submit the electronic theses and dissertations (ETDs) at least 2 workdays in advance.

◆ Click "ETDs Submission" on the homepage. The website is open to on-campus users and off-campus users can visit the website upon authentication via the VPN system by using the user names and passwords of on-campus access accounts.

◆ First click "New User Registration" to log in, then click "ETDs Submission", fill out information according to the "Procedures of ETDs Submission" and upload your thesis in format of PDF files.

◆ Once your thesis have passed the review, you need to submit the paper thesis to the "Reader Service Desk" on floor 1.

◆ The content of paper thesis shall be identical to that of electronic thesis and the information on the cover shall be complete (including the title, name of author and completion time). A signed page of Copyright License Agreement is also required.

 Theses & Dissertations

◆  First click "New User Registration" to log in, then click "ETDs Submission", fill out relevant information according to the "Procedures of ETDs Submission", download, print and fill out the description of interior theses & dissertations in Beijing Institute of Technology and upload your thesis in format of PDF files. Such words as "Year X, For Internal Use" shall be noted in the top right corner of the cover of ETDs.

◆  Once your thesis have passed the review, you need to submit the paper thesis as well as the description of interior theses & dissertations in Beijing Institute of Technology to the "Reader Service Desk" on floor 1.

◆ The content of paper thesis shall be identical to that of electronic thesis and the information on the cover shall be complete (including the title, name of author and completion time). Such words as "Year X, For Internal Use" shall be noted in the top right corner of the cover and A signed page of Copyright License Agreement is also required.

Confidential Theses & Dissertations

Neither electronic thesis nor paper thesis shall be submitted to the library. You only need to submit a copy of confidential theses & dissertations approval form in Beijing Institute of Technology.

◆ If you have forgotten the password of the ETDs submission system and have not submitted your thesis, please change the login name, re-register and submit your thesis.

◆  When you log in, please make sure that you fill in your real name and student number correctly.

◆ Please check carefully when you submit the electronic thesis to ensure that all the information is correct and the content of paper thesis is identical to that of electronic thesis. Please choose the level of security classification properly because any consequence resulting from a wrong choice shall be borne by yourself.

◆ After filling out all the information in the ETDs submission system, you have to click the button "Confirm & Submit", otherwise your thesis will not be reviewed.
